Preparation for Scanning HPE OneView
StorageGuard collects configuration data from HPE OneView by opening an HTTPS connection and executing read-only REST API calls.
The following table lists the requirements for scanning HPE OneView systems:

Creating a User Account for Scanning OneView
The following suggested method can be used to create a user account with the appropriate privileges:
- From the main menu, select APPLIANCE > Users and Groups > Actions > Add
- Enter the username and password
- Click "Select a role..." and assign the readonly role.
- For scope, select All resources.
- Click Add to create the user account.
- Click Close.
