Preparation for Scanning Dell Networker
StorageGuard collects configuration data from Networker by opening an HTTPS connection to the Dell Networker server and running read-only REST API calls.
The following table lists the requirements for scanning Dell Networker:

Provide the network name or IP address of the NetWorker server. |

Mandatory: Provide a Networker username and password for running read-only REST API calls. Example for REST APIs used in the scan:
Optional (recommended): Provide an OS user account for the Networker server and a Networker username and password for running Networker CLI commands. Sudo privileges need to be assigned to the OS user for the following CLI commands:

For a Unix/Linux User: The user account should be assigned with an unlimited read-only role, capable of running "cat" and "ls" commands. |

Verify IP connectivity through HTTPS is available between the StorageGuard server and the Networker system. SSH access is optional. |
