Master Server Requirements
General requirements
- Operating system: Windows 2012, 2016 or 2019 64-bit | English edition and Locale
- Disk drives: at least two drives, one standard Operating System drive and an additional drive for the Continuity Software Suite application installation and files.
- Required software: Oracle client, NotePad++ (or similar)
- Type: Either a physical server or a virtual machine.
- User account: local administrative rights.
- Guidelines for optimal performance:
- It is highly recommended to use internal SSD drives.
- The master server and database servers should be connected to the same switch.
- Allocated resources should be dedicated to the Continuity Software Suite servers.

Oracle Database Requirements
General requirements
- DBMS: Oracle Database 12c Release 2, Oracle Database 18c or Oracle Database 19c, standard or enterprise edition.
- Disk: Solid State Drive (SSD) are recommended for optimal performance.
- Archive log: No.
- Tablespace: The default schema Tablespace is used.
- schema privileges: connect, dba (full database administrator rights)
- NLS_CHARACTERSET: AL32UTF8
- NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET: AL16UTF16
