Active Directory Integration

AvailabilityGuard can be easily integrated with Active Directory (AD) for authentication, user and group management. AD integration enables users to login to AvailabilityGuard with their standard domain accounts. In addition, user authorization (scope and rights) for AvailabilityGuard can be determined based on the AD group membership.

The AD integration feature is available out of the box, without needing additional plugins. Your first step for setting up AD integration is to discover AD domains. To achieve that, navigate to the Configuration tab, expand Advanced Configuration and Select Domains.

You can either let the AvailabilityGuard automatically discover AD domains or you can configure them manually. If entered manually, the following information must be provided:
