Preparation for Scanning Pure FlashArray
StorageGuard collects configuration data from PureStorage systems by opening HTTPS/SSH connections to the PureStorage system and running read-only REST-API calls and commands.
The following table lists the requirements for scanning PureStorage systems:
|1||Provide the network name or IP address of PureStorage system.
|2||Provide a read-only user account (and password) for each PureStorage system.
Examples for API/CLI calls used:
|3||Make sure that IP connectivity through HTTPS (port 443) and SSH (22) is available between the StorageGuard server and each PureStorage array.|
|4||Note: The same username and password is required for the RES API and SSH connections.|
Creating a User Account for Scanning Pure FlashArray
