How to import a CVE KB file to StorageGuard?

The StorageGuard CVE KB file contains a catalog of vulnerabilities for Storage and Backup systems. Our Security Research team works diligently to maintain and update the catalog on a regular basis with new vulnerability information. Once the CVE KB file is imported to StorageGuard, it enables the system to automatically detect and report when scanned Storage and Backup systems are exposed to vulnerabilities documented within the catalog.

It is recommended to download and import the latest StorageGuard CVE KB file. To receive email notifications regarding newly added vulnerabilities and to download the latest CVE KB update file, subscribe to the Security Updates section.

The following step-by-step instructions can be used to import a CVE KB file to StorageGuard:

1. Login to StorageGuard.
2. On the top right corner, select automatic update under User Settings.
3. Under Update options, select Manual.
4. Click Choose File to select update file.
5. Click on update.
