Q: Does StorageGuard require access to cloud or external connections?

A: StorageGuard is installed on-premises and by default does not require access to cloud or external network connections. If Automatic update is enabled (optional), StorageGuard must be allowed to access a secure download location for risk knowledgebase updates.
